Junk Food is the Worst Enemy in Order to Build 6 Pack Abs

If you’re like most people you enjoy binging on junk food now and then. Many can’t get through the day without giving in to their cravings for junk food.

Junk food generally means anything that comes in those attractive packets. It includes pizzas, burgers, French fries, ice creams, chocolates and chips. It’s also called comfort food for a reason. People turn to it when they’re down in the dumps and need something to cheer them up. Junk food is delicious. No wonder it’s so hard to give it up.

Now, for the bad news. If you eat junk food regularly and wonder why you don’t have those six pack abs you’re hankering after, it’s because all that junk food finds a comfortable spot in your tummy. In fact many health and fitness experts claim that eating junk food is the reason why you can’t see your abs. All food that contains sugar and fat is an enemy of that six-pack. The fat content in junk food has high cholesterol levels.

Moreover it has high sugar and sodium content that cause blood pressure and heart diseases. The salt present in junk food also affects the kidneys. Bad carbohydrates in junk food are stored as fat in the body and can cause diabetes. Besides, consuming too much of junk food makes you depressed, moody and irritable which deters you from exercising. Our body is just not designed to cope with junk food.

The best way to get those six pack abs faster is to altogether eliminate junk food from your diet. Replace junk food with wholesome and nutritious meals eaten at regular intervals. Fresh fruits come in handy when you experience a craving for sugar. Nuts are also high in energy and low in fat. You can munch nuts to quell those hunger pangs.

You may work those abs the entire day but if you end your day eating junk food, nobody’s ever going to be able to see them. They’ll be covered by a layer of fat accumulated by guzzling fat laden junk food. Get rid of that junk food if you want to see that exquisite six pack.
