Fat Burning Diet Pills – Why They Don’t Work

Everybody wants to look good. And for most of us looking good is synonymous with being skinny. If you’re like most people there’s always something about you that you’d like to change. For some it’s those flabby arms. Others hate their saggy stomachs. We always tend to find fault with ourselves no matter how accomplished or talented we may be. After all, almost every advertisement glorifies the super skinny model and ends up making us feel like containers of lard.

It’s this trend of shrinking to a size zero that has inspired loads of druggists to manufacture fat burning diet pills. They exhibit incredulous “before” and “after” pictures of overweight slobs and entice you to purchase their miracle drugs.

Fat burning diet pills typically work in three ways. One way involves releasing fat from fat cells and transporting them to muscle cells where they get burnt. Another way includes suppressing the appetite. The third method works by restricting the body from absorbing fat during digestion. This is achieved through a fat blocker pill.

Now, here’s the truth. These pills just don’t work! Initially, you may see a few results but in the long run you’ll discover you’re just wasting your valuable time and money. These fat burning pills don’t really help your body burn lots of calories and neither do they build fat burning muscles. Diet pills induce a starvation state, so to speak, during which both fat and lean body mass is lost.

Moreover, you can’t take these pills forever. So, as soon as you stop taking them you gain all the weight you’ve lost and more. Plus, you may also have lost considerable lean body mass. Besides, these pills have quite a few side effects. Fatigue, diarrhea, headaches and nausea are some of the side effects that you may experience.

In the long run the best way to lose weight is the traditional tried and tested method. Eat nutritious food, avoid junk food and sugary stuff and include at least twenty minutes of exercise in your daily routine. Don’t go in for any miracle fat burning diet pills. They won’t burn your fat, only holes in your pocket.
