Ab Rollers – The Solution for Six Pack Abs?

Six-pack abs are universally coveted but only a few possess them. Do you often get carried away with advertisements about Ab Rollers and lean machines promising to give you those trim abs? Do you tend to run out and make an impulse purchase of the first thing that promises you rock-hard abs? This may be news to you but Ab rollers are not really all that effective.

Most advertisers of ab rollers claim that the rollers help you maintain a proper position while exercising. Ab rollers have a headrest that is supposed to take the strain off your neck and back. You may have come across various advertisements claiming that if you use them for ten minutes a day you’ll get those exquisite abs. Typically, these ads always feature an attractive model with all the attributes you’re trying to achieve. Well, this is just hogwash.
People suffering from lower back problems will tend to strain their backs more if they use ab rollers. Besides, a support for your neck while exercising your abs makes your workout less effective.

Do you know that all of us have a six-pack? Yes, under those oodles of fat, there exists a six pack in each one of us. Some people though have a toned abdomen while others don’t. This has got nothing to do with an ab roller and everything to do with a healthy diet and a sensible workout.

In fact, many fitness experts claim that the ab rollers advertised are unsafe and even create an imbalance in the muscles. They are used too frequently and most often not in a proper way. Most users find it’s more effective to do basic crunches without an ab roller. This way you concentrate more on your workout since your body has to do all the work.

The main reason why the ab roller is not that effective is because it helps you with your workout and hence you miss doing most of the hardwork. Though ab rollers may help to an extent in strengthening abdominal muscles they are definitely not effective in getting rid of all that belly fat.
